Where these two actually differ

• We flag 1,4-dioxane (processing contaminant), Formaldehyde releasers (preservatives), Fragrance allergens (undisclosed components) and Microbial contamination (if container compromised) on the Carol's Daughter and not on the Pantene.
• We flag Fragrance allergens and Silicone buildup (cosmetic, not toxicological) on the Pantene and not on the Carol's Daughter.
• The Carol's Daughter is aqueous conditioner base (water, humectants, emollients, surfactants) where the Pantene is aqueous conditioning cream; typical surfactants, silicones, emollients, which is most of the difference in these two grades.
• These two are level, close enough that price and fit should decide it rather than our grade.
