Where these two actually differ

• We flag Formaldehyde or formaldehyde releasers in textile finishes, Azo dyes or heavy metals in pigments, Coating degradation and microparticle shedding and VOC off-gassing from new rug on the Ruggable and not on the Safavieh.
• We flag Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from acrylic backing and dyes, Microfiber shedding from polypropylene and polyester blend and Acrylic backing degradation and leachables over time on the Safavieh and not on the Ruggable.
• The Ruggable is Polyester/cotton blend with proprietary stain-resistant and water-resistant coating where the Safavieh is Polypropylene and polyester blend with acrylic backing, which is most of the difference in these two grades.
• The gap is 45 points, wide enough that this is not a close call, and the Safavieh is the one to buy.
• We are less certain about the Ruggable grade, at 45% confidence against 72%, because it discloses less.
