• We flag Bacterial and microbial growth in housing and filters, Activated carbon filter degradation and dust release, RO membrane integrity failure and microbial breakthrough and Tubing and connector leakage or degradation on the Aquasure and not on the Hydro Guard.
• We flag Bacterial growth in filters if maintenance neglected, Tubing degradation over time and Mineral scale or biofilm in storage tank (if model includes one) on the Hydro Guard and not on the Aquasure.
• The Aquasure is RO membrane, carbon filters, stainless steel housing where the Hydro Guard is RO membrane, carbon filters, polypropylene/polyethylene housing, which is most of the difference in these two grades.
• These two are 5 points apart, close enough that price and fit should decide it rather than our grade.
