• We flag Plastic lid/spout leaching (non-PFAS), Silicone gasket degradation, Bacterial or mold growth in valve assembly and Thermal stress to plastic components on the Owala and not on the Klean Kanteen.
• The Klean Kanteen is 18/8 stainless steel, no interior coating where the Owala is Stainless steel interior and exterior, plastic lid and spout, which is most of the difference in these two grades.
