Does Farberware cookware have PFAS?
Farberware cookware averages 15 out of 100 on PFAS Authority's PFAS and toxin screen across the 6 Farberware cookware products graded as of October 2026, level with the 15 out of 100 median for the 46 other cookware brands graded alongside it.
Farberware cookware averages Bad on our four-band scale. None of them clear our buy threshold. That is above 29% of the cookware brands we grade.
PFAS Authority is a scoring system, not a laboratory. We do not test products ourselves. Grades are model-based, built from published ingredients, materials, certifications, brand disclosures and third-party lab results where they exist. See the rubric.
What Farberware says and does about PFAS
Farberware’s own chemical disclosures say its traditional nonstick cookware, including the Classic Series and Reliance sets, contains intentionally added PFAS, listing PTFE, FEP and PFA. Its Vibrance ceramic line is marketed as made without PFAS, PFOA or PTFE. Independent testing found PTFE on a Farberware Reliance skillet sold with a no PFOA claim, so check the grade of the exact product you are buying.
