Where these two actually differ

• We flag VOC off-gassing from polyurethane or latex adhesive, Polypropylene UV degradation and microplastic shedding, Backing adhesive failure and fiber separation and Infill contamination (if rubber granules used) on the AstroTurf and not on the Shaw Sports Turf.
• We flag PFAS in surface coatings, Microplastics shedding, Heavy metals in infill or coloring and Bacterial or mold growth if moisture retained on the Shaw Sports Turf and not on the AstroTurf.
• The AstroTurf is Polypropylene (PP) astroturf where the Shaw Sports Turf is Polyethylene (PE) fibers with proprietary stain/water treatment, which is most of the difference in these two grades.
