Does Circulon cookware have PFAS?
Circulon cookware averages 15 out of 100 on PFAS Authority's PFAS and toxin screen across the 5 Circulon cookware products graded as of October 2026, level with the 15 out of 100 median for the 46 other cookware brands graded alongside it.
Circulon cookware averages Bad on our four-band scale. None of them clear our buy threshold. That is above 29% of the cookware brands we grade.
PFAS Authority is a scoring system, not a laboratory. We do not test products ourselves. Grades are model-based, built from published ingredients, materials, certifications, brand disclosures and third-party lab results where they exist. See the rubric.
What Circulon says and does about PFAS
Circulon’s nonstick is PTFE based. Its California disclosure for Circulon Premier Professional cookware says the product contains intentionally added PFAS for its nonstick properties, and Circulon’s Australian site says its coatings are PTFE nonstick made without PFOA. Ecology Center testing found PTFE on a Circulon Infinite skillet. Circulon is one of the brands of Meyer Corporation, a member of the cookware industry group whose challenge to Minnesota’s PFAS cookware ban was dismissed in 2025.
