What ELF says and does about PFAS
e.l.f. publishes lists of ingredients it avoids, and PFAS is not on them. Its 2022 clean beauty announcement names 12 excluded ingredients and its October 2024 ingredient policy says it avoids over 2,500, but neither mentions PFAS or fluorinated ingredients. At least one current e.l.f. product, the Hydrating Camo Concealer, lists perfluorooctyl triethoxysilane, a PFAS ingredient, on its Ulta listing.
