Do LARQ portable water bottles have PFAS?
LARQ portable water bottles average 72 out of 100 on PFAS Authority's PFAS and toxin screen across the 6 LARQ portable water bottles graded as of October 2026, above the 70 out of 100 median for the 13 other portable water bottles brands graded alongside it.

PFAS Authority is a scoring system, not a laboratory. We do not test products ourselves. Grades are model-based, built from published ingredients, materials, certifications, brand disclosures and third-party lab results where they exist. See the rubric.
What LARQ says and does about PFAS
LARQ makes specific, checkable PFAS claims about its filters, and they are not all the same level of proof. Its Advanced Under Sink Filter is listed by NSF for total PFAS reduction, and its Filter Straw is certified by IAPMO to the same NSF/ANSI 53 standard for PFOA and PFOS. Its Advanced Bottle Filter and Advanced Pitcher Filter are described as independently tested to that standard rather than certified. We found no LARQ statement on whether its bottle coatings or plastics contain PFAS.
