What Midea says and does about PFAS
Midea markets the coatings in some of its air fryers as PFAS-free, such as the nonstick interior of its HeatXpress 7.8 quart air fryer and the enamel interior of its Flexify Pro air fryer oven, without naming the coating material. Its California AB 1200 disclosure for the air fryer models it lists names stainless steel components and no PTFE, while the same page does list PTFE for a rice cooker inner pot.
