What Oral-B says and does about PFAS

Procter & Gamble, which owns Oral-B, told Consumer Reports that its Oral-B Glide Pro-Health floss material contains PTFE, a fluoropolymer. In January 2026 ConsumerAffairs reported that Oral-B says it no longer formulates Glide floss with PTFE, and that independent testing of the new formula had not been widely published. Earlier independent screening by Mamavation found organic fluorine in Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Deep Clean Floss, and a federal class action over the floss was dismissed in 2023.
