What Seventh Generation says and does about PFAS
Seventh Generation publicly backs PFAS restrictions, and in 2023 told Minnesota lawmakers it supported the state’s PFAS ban. Independent testing of its products is mixed. Mamavation’s lab tests found organic fluorine, a screening marker that can indicate PFAS, in its recycled bathroom tissue and paper towels, while its facial tissues and organic cotton tampons came back non-detect. Organic fluorine is a screen, not a confirmed PFAS measurement.
