What ASICS says and does about PFAS
ASICS publishes a clear PFAS position. Its materials guideline states no use of perfluorinated compounds, and its 2023 sustainability report says it has been increasing PFAS-free water-repellent finishes since 2016 and was switching to PFAS-free materials for the US from January 2025. The same report described that switch as underway rather than finished, and we could not confirm which Gore-Tex membrane its GTX shoes use.
