What Lululemon says and does about PFAS
Lululemon says it phased PFAS out in its 2023 fiscal year, after using it in some durable water-repellent products. Its restricted substances list limits all PFAS to 50 ppm measured as total organic fluorine, and it says vendors must test for PFAS through credible third-party labs. In Mamavation’s lab tests, the Lululemon Align High Rise Pant measured 32 ppm total fluorine, while an Align short and a Free to Be sports bra were non-detect. In 2026 Texas’s attorney general opened an investigation into Lululemon over PFAS, which is an inquiry, not a lawsuit.
