Samsung averages 77 out of 100 on PFAS Authority's PFAS and toxin screen across the 33 Samsung products graded as of October 2026, and 27 of them reach its 70 point pass mark.

What Samsung says and does about PFAS
Samsung publishes a substances standard that lists PFAS as not to be used in mobile products, notebook PCs and packaging from May 2026, and says it is working with suppliers to reach PFAS-free status. A 2024 class action alleged some Galaxy Watch bands contain PFAS and was dismissed in 2025 after an individual settlement. We found no PFAS statement covering chargers or other accessories.
