What T-fal says and does about PFAS
T-fal says plainly that its nonstick contains PTFE, the fluoropolymer that Minnesota’s PFAS law covers. Because Minnesota banned cookware with intentionally added PFAS in 2025, T-fal lists 26 cookware ranges, plus its Optigrill grills and Easy Fry and Infrared air fryers, as not sold there, and the same in Maine and Colorado from 2026. Its UK arm says its products contain no PFAS considered harmful by health authorities and opposes broad PFAS bans, and three French NGOs have filed a complaint over those safety claims.
