Patagonia waterproof winter gloves average Good on our four-band scale. 3 of the 6 we graded are worth buying.

What Patagonia says and does about PFAS

Patagonia says that for Winter 2025 and beyond, all new membranes, water-repellent finishes and styles are made without intentionally added PFAS, after phasing out C8 and then C6 fluorocarbons. That is a company-wide position, and it is Patagonia's own claim. A Mamavation lab test of a Patagonia jacket sold in its PFAS-free section reported 901 ppm total fluorine, which Mamavation says is indicative of PFAS.
