What Caraway says and does about PFAS
Caraway says its ceramic nonstick is made without PTFE, PFOA and PFAS, and publishes lab testing it says found no PFAS within reporting limits. The National Advertising Division, the ad industry’s self-regulator, found Caraway had a reasonable basis to call its own cookware PFAS-free and non-toxic, but not to claim that competitors’ cookware is unsafe. In February 2026 Groupe SEB and Meyer Corporation, whose brands include T-fal, All-Clad and Farberware, sued Caraway in federal court in New York for false advertising and commercial disparagement, and Caraway has asked the court to dismiss the case.
